“North Carolina led the country’s wine production in 1835, and even in today’s highly competitive wine industry, this state ranks 7th for wine production and 10th for grape production in the US.”

This can definitely give North Carolina a progressive economy and a great factor to help the US economy as well.

Anna called me out on my above statement. What I meant to say was, perhaps the NCBG should be tracking how people vote for such things and post it to the website. That said, I can simply look it up on their websites.

It’s my understanding that the NCBG does monitor the voting very closely.

Hi Heidi, I believe many people shared your feelings about last year's festival. The good news is that the 2011 Carolina Oktoberfest at Tanglewood host is not the same as the one that ran it last year. This is a very experienced festival host that has been running the NC wine festival at Tanglewood for 11 years now. The bands they have lined up look awesome and participating craft breweries are being added to the list every week.
